A woman claimed she was a die hard Trump supporter, but said to DeSantis that he is the best person to vote for.

GALLAGHER: Yesterday, Gov. DeSantis held a big Townhall. Packed. Lot of enthusiasm and a big turn out to hear DeSantis. A lady stood up and spoke and this thing went viral. Certainly the DESANTIS people are very excited about what she had to say. I’m going to play it for you. I don’t want you to think I’m making an editorial judgment about either DeSantis or Trump or anybody else for that matter. You know me. I’m a Republican. I’m going to support whoever gets the nomination in 2024 enthusiastically I might add. Because we got to stop the Democrats’ reign of terror over the United States. They are destroying this country city by city state by state. Again this went viral. This was somewhere in South Carolina where this lady took the microphone and spoke directly to Ron DeSantis.

LADY: I was invited to come today to listen to you by this gentleman, Rep. Moss. I am a very hardcore Trump supporter, but I know he made me stop and think a minute. My love for President Trump comes from all the despair, all the things that he’s been through, has served as our president of the United States — and he did a good job. But all the things— I’m thinking more with my heart, and my sorrow and my love for him, and for this country. But now I— this is the most important vote that we’re going to have and I have to think more with my mind and what’s best for this country. And you did an excellent job. And I certainly appreciate it.

DESANTIS: God bless you. Thank you. I appreciate that and I agree with you. I appreciate what President Trump did. How they treated him with things like Russia collusion was a disgrace. He was treated wrong. He was treated in ways that were unconstitutional. Here is the thing. The question for us now is what are we going to do about it. We need to end the weaponization of government. I will get that done. It is not about me. It is about you. It is about me standing up for you and for the constitution and restoring this country to what the Founding Fathers envisioned. We will get it done.
