Democrat New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced a temporary suspension of our 2nd Amendment rights.

GALLAGHER: There was an incident. A kid was killed in New Mexico in an awful road rage incident and a child was killed. The governor of New Mexico, a Democrat named Michelle Grisham, has banned people from being able to carry guns in Albuquerque and the surrounding county. I’m not kidding you. I want you to hear this. This is this is what I mean. And this is what’s at stake in the United States. Here is the Democrat governor of New Mexico, Michelle Lujan Grisham, responding to a reporter saying are you really suspending people’s right to to to bear arms and carry guns in Albuquerque because of one incident for the law, for the Constitution?
REPORTER: Isn’t it unconstitutional to say we can actually say you carry a license with one exception, and that is if there’s an emergency.

GRISHAM: I declared an emergency for a temporary amount of time, I can invoke additional powers. No constitutional rights, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute. There are restrictions on free speech. There are restrictions on my freedoms in this emergency, this 11 year old and all these parents who have lost all these children, they deserve my attention to have the debate about whether or not in an emergency we can create a safer environment. Because what about their constitutional rights? I took an oath to uphold those two. And if we ignore this growing problem without being bold, I’ve said to every other New Mexican, Your rights are subjugated to theirs. And they are not, in my view.

GALLAGHER: In her view. So an 11 year old child is killed in a road raid incident, road rage incident, and the governor of New Mexico unilaterally suspended open and concealed carry laws in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. And she said she’s going to further lengthen or renew the order, which, of course, is being slammed by many as being unconstitutional. Oh, you think? Is there a Second Amendment? Does the Second Amendment get stripped away? If an 11 year old child is tragically killed in a road rage road rage incident, do you see what Democrats are you paying attention? Are you paying attention today? Everyone ought to be on New Mexico to see how we’re going to respond to this latest example of tyranny from today’s Democrat Party.
