Democrats Oppose The Second Amendment
California Governor Gavin Newsom openly said the Second Amendment is becoming a suicide pact.
GALLAGHER: Don’t just complain. Give us a solution. Gavin Newsom knows exactly what the problem is in his warped view. The problem is the U.S. constitution.
NEWSOM: I mean the 2nd Amendment is becoming a suicide pact.
O’DONNELL: But there is many people in this country that support the 2nd Amendment and are lawful gun owners.
NEWSOM: Yeah I have Great respect. I have no opposition to someone reasonably and responsibly owning fire arms and getting background checks and getting trained.
GALLAGHER: Wait a minute. You just said the Second Amendment is becoming a suicide pact. Then the reporter says well wait a minute, there are people who support the 2nd Amendment. He goes, well I have great respect or no opposition to someone reasonably and responsibly having firearms, getting background checks, and getting trained. Well you obviously have no respect for the 2nd Amendment or you wouldn’t call it a suicide pact, but I think it is fair to check the box that Gavin Newsom is opposed to the Second Amendment of the constitution. Period. There is nothing else you can say about that. Here is Joe Scarborough this morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. I don’t have a lot of respect for the guy. He is the kind of conservative or Republican wink wink that MSNBC makes a super star out of. In other words, he is not a conservative at all. He is one of these Never Trump ex Republicans but nonetheless, former Republican congressman goes on TV after this 2nd mass shooting in California and I want you to hear carefully what he says and get your analysis of it. Here it is.
SCARBOROUGH: There was a shooting in Des Moines, Iowa yesterday at a school that I believe he killed 3 people. 2 students were shot dead and a teacher.
BRZEZINSKI: And that is a mention after our 2 mass shootings in California today.
SCARBOROUGH: This is just side news that nobody is going to talk about today because we have 2 mass shootings in California and this is just something that is sandwiched between it. And it’s coming at such a rapidly alarming rate that all of the bs arguments that NRA apologists made 10 years ago, 20 years ago, they Don’t apply anymore, not to middle Americans, not to independents, not to people who don’t have a political reason to fight this battle. Enough! Americans have got to be saying enough!
