Political analyst Jason Nichols suggested that Democrats want Trump to be the GOP nominee for 2024 because they believe he will lose.

GALLAGHER: Let me give you a little bit of a reality check. I believe that the Left wants Donald Trump to be the nominee. I think they are pulling for him to be the nominee, because they think that he is the one Republican who will lose to Joe Biden.
