Donald Trump’s Facebook And Instagram Accounts To Be Reinstated
The news that Trump will be let back on Facebook and Instagram has the Left hyperventilating.
GALLAGHER: President Trump had a substantial business interest in Truth Social. He is not supposed to go on Twitter. That is why he hasn’t tweeted yet apparently. He was reinstated weeks ago. Months ago. He hasn’t tweeted a single thing because he has said he wants to stay true and loyal to Truth Social. I think he is obligated to because of his contractual restrictions. Along comes Nick Clegg, the parent company of Facebook/Instagram, Meta. Meta’s President for Global affairs announces that Trump’s accounts will be reinstated in the coming weeks. Of course that doesn’t go over well with the looney Left. Check out Adam Schiff who is whining and crying about losing his committee chairmanship. He was on with Joy Reid last night whining about Trump coming back to Facebook.
SCHIFF: I think Facebook’s decision to reinstate Donald Trump is inexplicable. It represents, in my view, a total caving in and copping out. The only motive I can see is a profit motive here. If you look at what Donald Trump has been posting on his own social media platform, all of that violates Facebook’s policies. He’s continued to give aid and comfort to those who committed acts of insurrection. He’s continuing to spread the big lie. And the idea that somehow he would not do that on Facebook when he’s doing it on his own platform, to me, is a tragic decision by a company that’s putting its profit above the public interest.
GALLAGHER: Now of course he wouldn’t like it and he thinks it is a profit motive. It might also be a profit motive for the Trump campaign because Trump has historically done a lot of fundraising on Facebook and he has typically loved prior to all this hitting the fan with Jan 6 has always loved the Facebook platform. What does he do?
