Mike’s caller shares why he believes every American must vote in our elections despite our election concerns.

GALLAGHER: Tom is in California. Merry Christmas Tom.

CALLER TOM: Merry Christmas. I will get right to the point. Mike, I am going to tell you. As a voter, that is all I can do. Ok, I can vote. I can throw some cash. Maybe make some phone calls.

GALLAGHER: You can volunteer. You can canvass.

CALLER TOM: Yeah yeah yeah. But very little. That is all I can do. We all have to do our part. The problem is and I am not saying you. Everyone who has a microphone and megaphone. They are not doing their part. I am telling you, I spent years in the military. Leadership is on the leaders. It is not on the followers to convince the leaders. It is on the leaders to convince the followers and one of the main things if you want someone to follow you and give their best, you have to motivate. Mike, it is a math problem. I won’t get into all the dishonest stuff. If we are going to say and this is what all the GOP leaders say. This is a free and fair election. Ok, if we are going to say that, it is math. They were able to get their voters out to vote for babbling idiots because they motivate their leaders and don’t attack each other.

GALLAGHER: Tom, why isn’t the condition that the country is in under Democrat leadership. The crime, border surge, the economy. How is that not a motivator for voters?

CALLER TOM: Exactly. Why isn’t there a unified message? Instead we are attacking each other. It is the enemy within that is the problem. When the enemy is inside your own wire, you’ve got bigger issues. It is very complex.

GALLAGHER: It is complex, but like you said. There shouldn’t have been a lack of motivation to vote for Republicans. Any Republican is better than any Democrat. There is the crux of the problem because a lot of people like my friend texting me this morning. They don’t think that. They think Mitch McConnell is a bigger enemy than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Like Mark said. I will take Susan Collins over a far left radical lunatic any day of the week. It is Maine! It is Maine! Yet the mindset is, why vote, why show up. It doesn’t matter. It is a defeatist mentality. Charlie Kirk called it immoral to stay home and not vote. I don’t know that it is a lack of morality. I believe it is Un-American because Tom you are right. You have one job to do and that is to vote. That is way more powerful than a big mouth on the radio. I can try to motivate, inspire, encourage. I can’t pull the lever for you. Only you can do that.
