Former NJ Gov. Chris Christie Goes After Trump And The Crowd Disapproved
The Faith & Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington D.C. had a crowd boo Chris Christie’s remarks on Trump.
GALLAGHER: Is Chris Christie’s approach working? I mean he got booed off the stage at the Faith & Freedom Coalition. Did you see that? This is Gov. Chris Christie who is no holds bar. I mean he is going after Trump fullbore. He is all in as red meat as it gets. Evidently, the crowd at the Faith & Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington D.C. over the weekend didn’t think too highly of Gov. Christie’s approach.
CHRISTIE: “Why am I running for president of the United States? I’m running because he’s let us down. He has let us down because he’s unwilling, he’s unwilling to take responsibility for any of the mistakes that were made. And — any of the faults that he has, and any of the things that he’s done. And that is not leadership everybody. That is a failure of leadership. And I — (Booing) — you can boo all you want, but here’s the thing. Our faith teaches us that people have to take responsibility for what they do. People have to stand up and take accountability for what they do.
GALLAGHER: Yeah that is a good approach. I am at the Faith & Freedom Coalition and I am going to tell you what faith means. You know what faith means. A Supreme Court that has overturned Roe v. Wade and has saved a bunch of unborn babies. Trump did that.
