Former President Trump delivered an uplifting and inspirational speech at CPAC that left most of us feeling hopeful by the end of it.

GALLAGHER: A big night for President Trump at CPAC. Someone texted that Axios had that big scoop on Trump’s 5 point plan to attack Ron DeSantis. He didn’t say a word about DeSantis in the speech. Didn’t attack him at all. Had a lot of people tell me, they watched the whole speech and anybody who listened to every word of Trump’s speech would walk away saying yup he is the guy. He is the only guy who can deliver us from the mess that we are in. Now obviously plenty of people are anti Trump and have an entirely different take on it. Here was a little bit of President Trump from CPAC pulling no punches.

TRUMP: When we started this journey, a journey like there has never been before. There’s never been anything like this. We had a Republican Party ruled by freaks, globalists, open borders zealots. And fools. But we are never going to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove and Jeb Bush. There is only one President in history who has ever taken on the entire corrupt establishment in Washington, and when we win in 2024, we will do it again even stronger, faster, and better because. Because now I am experienced and I know the people of Washington. I didn’t know them. I was from New York. I only came here 17 times they said. I read that in the Fake News so probably not true but best I can do. I never stayed over. I was from New York but I now know the good ones, the bad ones, the weak ones, the strong ones, I know them all. I know the people that have to do the job and can do the job. A lot of them are in this room right now. And as I did for 4 incredible years, I will put America first every single time every single day. And if you put me back in the White House, their reign is over and they know it. And America will be a free nation once again. We are not a free nation right now. We don’t have a free press. We don’t have a free anything. In 2016, I declared I am your voice. Today, I add I am your warrior, I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed. I am your retribution. Not going to let this happen.
