Gov. DeSantis Won’t Be Treated Better Than Trump By The Media
Gov. DeSantis gave an interview to NBC News when he visited the southern border this week.
GALLAGHER: Gov. DeSantis went to the border this week. He was quizzed by NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez and shocker. The NBC reporter was a little feisty with the Florida governor.
GUTIERREZ: “How do you explain to your supporters and your donors that, since your campaign has launched, you’ve dropped nine points?
DESANTIS: “So, two things. One, I think if you look, the swing states, Biden beats Trump in the swing states and I beat Biden handily in the swing states. That’s ultimately the election right there. Who’s going to win Georgia, Arizona — obviously, I’ll win Florida if I’m the candidate — and Texas, Wisconsin, those states, you’ve got to be able to do that. If you don’t have a path to do that, then nominating doesn’t — doesn’t make sense. There’s other polls in the primary I’ve grown. I think at the end of the day, this is a marathon, not a sprint. We’re doing everything we need to do in these early states.”
GALLAGHER: What he is doing according to Joy Reid is campaigning as a fascist. Just so you know what they are going to do to Ron DeSantis. They are going to eviscerate Ron DeSantis. I mean they are already starting.
