Is The Possible Trump Indictment The Most Extreme Example Of Trump Derangement Syndrome?

Share

Judge Jeanine Pirro argues that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg targeting Trump is really just Trump derangement syndrome.

GALLAGHER: They are trying to stop Trump from being the Republican nominee for President. It is the ultimate Trump derangement syndrome. It’s now come full circle. They are now willing to try to charge a President, a former President. Something that has never happened in the history of America because they’re so desperate to prevent Trump from returning to the White House. Jeanine Pirro put it best yesterday on Fox News when she pointed out how this is the ultimate act of people who suffer from Trump derangement syndrome.

PIRRO: Well, the grand jury today heard from a Manhattan attorney Bob Costello, who apparently Trump had requested. And when I ran grand juries, of the defense requested a jury, you have the courtesy to have that witness come in and testify. But what we have here is the ultimate Trump Derangement Syndrome by Trump haters. You’ve got Alvin Bragg who makes a decision on a case to go forward with it that the FEC declined, the Southern District of New York declined, Cy Vance, the DA declined, and he declined himself, Alvin Bragg, the DA of Manhattan until Mark Pomerantz, who worked in Bragg’s office for free, writes a book, in violation of all kinds of ethics, saying that — using evidence that he learned from the DA’s office that Donald Trump deserves to be indicted. This is a highly unusual theory that can’t pass judicial muster.

GALLAGHER: Now, the House oversight and Judiciary committees are gonna investigate this and they should cause this is a scandal. Let me just put it out there. We all want it to happen. Trump probably wants it to happen. I think Trump is already polishing up a pair of golden handcuffs to put on himself and show up and say here take me. This would be the biggest political win for Trump. I don’t know that it’s gonna happen because I don’t know that Alvin Bragg is going to be willing to stand up to everything that he’s going to go to face including an investigation by the House of Representatives. Here was Jim Jordan chairman Jordan last night the congressman from Ohio talking to CNN’s Manu Raju yesterday.

JORDAN: And then what changed? President Trump announces he’s running for president, and, shazam, now they’re going to — now they’re going to — we’re going to — we’re going to — some bookkeeping error from seven years ago, misdemeanors, is now — now what they’re going after. So it makes absolutely no sense.
RAJU: But you don’t know what the charges are against former — the former president.
JORDAN: No, we’re going on what you guys have told us.
RAJU: Yes.
JORDAN: I mean, that’s all been reported.
RAJU: Aren’t you jumping to conclusions? I mean, he may have broken the law. Does that concern you?
JORDAN: We don’t think — we don’t think President Trump broke the law at all.
