Kayleigh McEnany Wants Trump To Postpone Any Announcement About 2024 Until After Georgia Runoff Election
Former White House Press Secretary & Fox News Host Kayleigh McEnany urged Trump to postpone his 2024 announcement until after the Georgia runoff election.
GALLAGHER: What about the role Trump should or shouldn’t play? Kayleigh McEnany said on TV and nobody is more loyal to President Trump than Kayleigh. She served as his White House press secretary. I know he is very fond of her. Here she was on Outnumbered on Fox News urging President Trump to delay making the announcement next week as to whether or not he is going to run for President.
McENANY: “ I know there’s a temptation to start talking about 2024. No, no, no. 2022 is not over.”
BRUCE: “Great point.”
McENANY: “Every Republican energy needs to go to grinding the Biden agenda to a halt. And that could go straight through the state of Georgia.”
FAULKNER: “Does that include Trump?”
McENANY: “I think he needs to put it on pause, absolutely. Look, he will make that decision. He will make his own decision, but —
FAULKNER: “Does he go to Georgia?
McENANY: “ — if I’m advising any contender, DeSantis, Trump, whomever, no one announces 2024 until we get through December 6.”
FAULKNER: “Do you see the former president, a need for him to go to Georgia?”
McENANY: “I think we have to make strategic calculations. Governor DeSantis, I think he should be welcomed to the state given what happened last night. You have to look at the realities on the ground and Herschel Walker. We have to win the Senate. That’s it, guys. Got to win the Senate.”
GALLAGHER: Wow, sounds like Kayleigh is on Team DeSantis. She worked in the Trump administration. Tony is in Atlanta.
CALLER TONY: I am a Black conservative who openly and publicly supports Trump. I have been called everything, but a child of God. I am an ardent Trump supporter. However, there is no way that Brian Kemp wins Georgia by 8% and Herschel Walker being a runoff if he is not a Trump candidate. I voted for Herschel and I will vote for him again, but at this point, I agree with Kayleigh that Trump needs to hold off. Even better yet, ride off into the sunset and see what happens in Florida wth DeSantis and lets take that roadmap nationally.
