Mike’s Callers React To Jan. 6th Committee Recommending Criminal Referrals For Trump
Do Americans believe that Trump will be indicted?
GALLAGHER: Here is JQ in Columbus, Ohio. Merry Christmas JQ.
CALLER JQ: Merry Christmas Mike. I just wanted to say that you guys are right. They haven’t charged even one person with this insurrection crime but they are going after a former President after this. It seems like just a big witch hunt and a waste of taxpayer dollars.
GALLAGHER: That is a great point. How much do you think this whole sham has cost the American taxpayer? There has been nothing objective about it. There was no counter argument. Nobody on the Trump team was allowed to participate. Bottom line is it was a giant waste of taxpayer money. Good point. Thank you sir. Kurt in Jacksonville, Florida. Hey Kurt. Merry Christmas.
CALLER KURT: I have a quick point. I am not sure Merrick Garland is going to take this any further. If he is smart, he realizes that the Republicans in Congress are going to come after Joe and Hunter and bring some charges against them. I think he wants to bring charges against Trump, but if he is smart at all he will say no so that he can say no to Hunter and have plausible deniability.
GALLAGHER: Yeah it is a good argument. I mean its an argument in favor of not indicting. A lot of people have said to me, he won’t indict because then Trump does have a day in court. He hasn’t had his day in court. They haven’t allowed him to have his day in court. If he is charged, guess what? The clip that they dare not play where Trump went to great lengths to instruct people to peacefully protest. That all comes out.
