Did the Biden administration intentionally wait to shoot the Chinese spy balloon down until it got all the way across the country?

CALLER TONY: Good. Yeah I mean this Biden character. He is known for lies. I sat in his office back in the 80s. We were petitioning him. He never came through on anything. This thing about being afraid to shoot it out for fear it will hit something. Mike, how many times have you heard of satellites crashing to the earth losing orbit or the airplanes that drop those little presents, those frozen things from the commodes that crash through people’s roofs sometimes. Nobody seems to have a problem with it.

GALLAGHER: You are so right. They are lying to us. They are looking us into the eye and saying we are doing this out of an abundance of caution. I don’t believe that Biden was ordered to shoot it down on Wednesday. You think we are supposed to believe anything they say? That is why you go down these conspiracy rabbit holes because you don’t believe anything they say about anything anymore. You think its possible they waited until it went over the Atlantic Ocean and said lets shoot it down and make sure a bunch of this stuff winds up at the bottom of the sea? CALLER PHIL: Good. I think that they definitely wanted to wait until it got over the ocean to shoot it down so that nothing could be recovered as a face saving device for the Chinese. They were fearing retaliation. They knew the balloon was there. We knew the balloon was here. Very low tech surveillance. They said ok shoot this thing down, we won’t find anything. You don’t kick our people out of China. Ok?
