Amid Trump being vindicated and his continual jabs at Ron DeSantis, Mike has callers share how they are feeling about it all.

GALLAGHER: Hello Ted.

CALLER TED: Hi Mike. I am a Republican living here in Florida and Ron is the best governor in the country. This is how I feel about this. We can’t go back and correct what happened with Trump and the media even though you are absolutely right. They did him wrong. However, I am of the ilk and I am 64 years old. We need to stop having people run this country who are in their 70s and 80s. If he would unify with DeSantis and they would put their heads together, DeSantis would win 40 states.

GALLAGHER: Well not only that or Trump would win 40 states on a Trump-DeSantis ticket. There would be no stopping them and a lot can happen between now and election day. Chris in Anderson, South Carolina.

CALLER CHRIS: I agree with the last caller that DeSantis would win a lot of states, but to my point that I called about, it is unnecessary for Trump to do this. I am going to vote for him no matter what, but it will push a lot of people away in today’s climate. That is just the way it is.

GALLAGHER: Isn’t that weird? Isn’t that strange? Why are people surprised at Trump being Trump? There is nothing new about this.

CALLER CHRIS: The reason people are surprised is DeSantis is Trump’s mini me. You know what I am saying? He is like Trump in so many different ways and he is the best governor in this country.
GALLAGHER: But I got to tell you something my friend, I don’t think Ron DeSantis would appreciate being called Trump’s mini me. Not sure that would go over well there in the governor’s office. I appreciate your call very much.
