Mike shares the 911 call that the mother of the Louisville shooter made before shooting up the bank.

GALLAGHER: Nobody saw this coming with this young man. Certainly not his own mother. The mother, the panicked mom called 911 when the shooter’s roommate found a note that the shooter left behind. They released the 911 call. Here’s what it sounded like.

OPERATOR: 911 Operator waiting for your emergency.

MOM: Yes, I think my son has a gun and he is heading towards the Old National on Main street here in Louisville.

OPERATOR: Main street. Old National.

MOM: Yes, this is his mother. I’m so sorry, I’m getting details secondhand. Oh my Lord.

OPERATOR: And what exactly is going on with him? What did he say he’s doing?

MOM: I don’t know. I am getting this information from his roommate. I think. He has never hurt anyone. He is a really good kid.

OPERATOR: Ok, he is headed to Old National. Did he say what he is going to do there?

MOM: I don’t know anything. We don’t even own guns. I don’t know where he would’ve gotten a gun.

OPERATOR: Ok so where did you get this information from?

MOM: His roommate called me. I’m sorry. I don’t know what I’m doing. He is not violent. He’s never done anything.

OPERATOR: Ok and you don’t believe he owns guns?

MOM: I know he doesn’t own any guns.

GALLAGHER: Wow, you know we’ve been talking a lot about the power of prayer and turning away from God, rejecting God. When these mass shootings take place, there’s a lot of families who suffer horrible loss. Certainly the victims, but this family of the killer is a victim too and we should be consistent and say that every single time. We should pray for all of these families, including the families of these shooters.
