Newly Elected Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Doesn’t Seem To Have An Issue With Looters

Share

Following the riots and recent looting in Chicago, the newly elected mayor defended the looters saying that we cannot demonize children.

GALLAGHER: Here is Brandon Johnson, the mayor elect of Chicago, who did exactly what I told you they do. Democrats do not defend the rule of law. They are absolutely pro destruction. When people say Democrats believe in intentionally destroying America. This is what they mean. Now you know, you seen it with your own eyes. You saw what happened in Chicago last weekend. Again, broken windows, shattered glass, vandalism, kids being assaulted, a couple of kids shot. It was very ugly in the loop in Chicago. Surely, even the far left Mayor elect Brandon Johnson is going to condemn all that violence, right?

JOHNSON: Demonizing children is wrong. We have to keep them safe as well. Have you ever taught middle school? I have. Have you ever raised young people? Do you understand the risks that young people take just because they’re young? Do you know that home plate is at the bottom of my stairs? I found out when my son was sliding down the stairs trying to score. They’re young. Sometimes they make silly decisions. They do. So we have to make sure we are investing to make sure that young people know they are supported.

GALLAGHER: You could say that about the army of shoplifters and thieves and people assaulting White, Asian, and Hispanic people. Jews are being assaulted in cities like New York. We need to invest in those young people. It is wrong to demonize them. We can’t demonize the looters. We can’t vilify the criminals. What happened to them in their childhood? They feel disenfranchised. They are the victims. Welcome aboard to Biden’s America.
