President Donald Trump made it clear on Saturday that under his leadership, the goal isn’t some temporary ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine conflict—it’s a real, lasting peace deal.
Unlike the Biden administration’s endless cycle of blank checks and vague diplomatic posturing, Trump is taking a results-driven approach aimed at ending the bloodshed and restoring stability.
In little more than six months, President Trump has pared the Biden-era backlog of more than 4.2 million pending cases before immigration judges to 3.8 million.
Some of that is because of better efficiency in the immigration courts, officially known as the Executive Office for Immigration Review. However, “the real change has been the drop in new cases,” a senior Justice Department official said.
