Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came out and said that Trump being indicted is Un-American as part of his response to this tragedy.

GALLAGHER: Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor. He had a very strong response to this yesterday. The governor of Florida, who has not really been that strongly in support of Donald Trump is all in on this one. He said the weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is Un American. Governor DeSantis is right. He’s correct. They have turned the rule of law on its head, but guess what? Now it’s time for us to roll up our sleeves and play ball with them. Forget the take the high road crap. No more. Playing nice with these Democrats doesn’t get us anywhere and we all know it instinctively. The only people who say we had to play nice are inside the beltway morons with their heads up their rear ends. They’re the ones who wanna play nice and playing nice has led to the arrest of the 45th President of the United States, the leading republican candidate in 2024 as they try to take his legs out from under him. Underestimate Donald Trump at your own peril. Go ahead, I dare you to underestimate this guy and I dare you to pretend that the American people aren’t gonna be unified over this. CARLSON: Donald Trump is the first former President Trump of the United States ever to be indicted. So, no matter what happens next we can be certain there is no coming back from this moment. There could be retaliations from red states. DeSantis issued a statement saying he’ll not participate in any extradition of Donald Trump to New York, that’s apparently scheduled by next week. We are not certain of the full outlines of this story but we know this moment is a historic one.
