The Marine Who Put Jordan Neely In A Chokehold Is Not A Villain
AOC and the Left are enraged at Jordan Neely’s death, but everything about this story is upside down.
GALLAGHER: AOC has been so reprehensibly reckless on this. Claiming this was a public execution and murder. She won’t stop until the marine is brought to justice. Listen to Jesse’s smackdown of that reckless rhetoric.
WATTERS: The guy obviously doesn’t deserve to die like that and we wish it didn’t have to be a marine stepping up, we wish a police officer had been there. A.o.c. famously said she didn’t want police in the subway. If a policeman had been in the subway car, this would not have been happened. I blame this guy’s father who is not in the picture, the mother is passed away. The city says they care so much about mental health and they let mentally ill people wandering the streets threatening people. He’s been arrested 40 times and had a warrant out. How many judges let this guy skate? So I wish a.o.c. would ride the subway once or twice just to get a vibe because I’m hearing from a lot of women today, not women from all over the country specifically women that take the subway in New York City. And they think about this a little differently than other people. And they know what it’s like. And they’re not saying I’m glad this guy died. They said finally, a man stepped up in the subway and protected us.
GALLAGHER: Wow. What a different take that is from the Left. Lawrence Jones pointed out that the Left doesn’t really care about the mentally ill, repeat offenders, and those committing acts of violence against strangers. Listen to what he said on Fox News.
JONES: It’s clear there’s something wrong here. If you take a quick look on social media you will see videos of Jordan kneeling dancing. You will see all these individuals express why Jordan Neely’s life mattered. Which I agree. He’s an American citizen. He’s a part of our family. It did matter. But why did his life suddenly matter once he was dead? Many knew this man, including our government, was struggling and they did nothing to help him. Society filled that void. And the marine who put him in a choke hold is now the villain. How is any of this right?
