Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg Has All The Wrong Priorities And Is Failing America
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg believes we have too many White construction workers and he thinks the balloons we are shooting down is some joke.
GALLAGHER: Listen to this exchange during the National Association of Counties Conference. Here is the Transportation Secretary Mayor Pete.
BUTTIGIEG: “But it couldn’t be a more exciting time for transportation. It’s had its challenges.”
WINFREY: “Right.”
BUTTIGIEG: “I mean, if you look at what the American transportation systems have faced in the last two or three years, partly because of the pandemic, we’ve faced issues from container shipping to airline cancelations, now we got balloons.” (Laughter)
WINFREY: “That’s right.”
GALLAGHER: He makes a face, raises eyebrows. Oh we have balloons. Isn’t that funny? I am the Transportation Secretary. Excuse me, Mr. Secretary. Your government has stated that these balloons posed a threat to commercial air transportation. You know what that means? That means American Airlines, Delta, United. That means men, women and children are on planes that could’ve been impacted by these balloons and they are barely talking about it. We still don’t know where they are from. We think from China. We don’t know what it contains, what the components are. Here was Larry Ludlow interviewed Republic Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi.
KUDLOW: Are the Bidens telling the truth about this stuff? Because I watched, the first big alan over Montana and so I don’t think they told anybody the truth. I don’t know why it took a week to get this thing down. We should have shot it down, captured, brought it down. Last question in your judgment, senator Roger Wicker are the bidens telling the truth?
WICKER: Probably not the whole truth.
KUDLOW: right.
WICKER: But we will in a setting where we can ask the penetrating questions, we’ll do our best to get to the whole truth and to the extent it is not classified, we’ll let you know. Also got to say this, Larry, I love the people of Montana. There are a lot of good folks there and I know you wouldn’t want us to be careless with their lives. There are places in the rockies this could have been shot down. Without endangering anybody.
GALLAGHER: Still fascinated by text I got from NY that I am racist for pointing out that Pete Buttigieg thinks there are too many White construction workers. Wish he’d call me. Lets play the clip for the benefit of anyone who wants to call me racist for this.
BUTTIGIEG: We have heard way too many stories from generations past of infrastructure where you got a neighborhood, often a neighborhood of color, that finally sees the project come to them, but everyone in the hard hats on that project, doing the good paying jobs, don’t look like they came from anywhere near the neighborhood.
