Sen. Rand Paul pointed out why Trump’s poll numbers are so high.

In some polls, he is 30 to 40 points ahead of his closest contender, Ron DeSantis. Here was Senator Paul explaining why.

PAUL: I think that he will debate if the polls narrow. I think the polls are going to narrow as people become more serious about this and think about it. So I think, yes, he should debate, but, you know, if you are a campaign adviser for him, you can see how he would get the advice, ‘I’m ahead 30 points, do I really need to?’ But I think the polls will narrow and I think actually there is more of an undecided out there that is going to look at the debates to help them solidify in their choice, and right now his numbers are sky-high because all of us think that he is being persecuted by the government.
