Will Donald Trump Get Indicted Again?
Fox News host Dana Perino says she believes we are in the indictment zone.
GALLAGHER: Do you remember the four years that Trump was president? All we heard is he is weaponizing his administration against his political opponents. He is a weaponizing the DOJ. He never came close to anything like this. They are so excited about it. Listen to George Conway. That creepy ex-husband of Kellyanne Conway who wanted to work in the Trump administration. Then he got rejected and was a disgruntled ex-employee. He hates Trump and is one of the kings of the anti-Trump. Here he is on MSNBC loving the news that the feds have informed Trump he is going to be indicted.
CONWAY: I think the word that you could use here, that was probably inadvisable used in the Georgia investigation is that an indictment is imminent. I mean, I think it’s highly — basically, they’re telling him they’re likely to indict him, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be tomorrow, doesn’t necessarily mean next week, but it does mean that if you are a believer in the rule of law and have a hankering for the rule of law, that Santa is going to come early this year, and it’s not going to be in Christmas, it’s going to be sooner rather than later.
GALLAGHER: That is how they look at this. It’s a big joke to them. It’s a game to them. Here is Dana Perino, talking about the seriousness of the feds informing Trump that he is about to be indicted.
WATTERS: “So, Dana, are you feeling the energy move around this Mar-a-Lago case?”
PERINO: “I think that we are in indictment zone. I don’t know if it’s tomorrow. I don’t know if it’s next week. I don’t know if the grand jury is going to come back and say, ‘We don’t think an indictment is warranted here.’ That could also happen.”
WATTERS: “Could happen.”
PERINO: “But I do think that your point about Trump’s lawyers meeting with the prosecutors — and we haven’t heard that that went super well, so that’s why I think we are in the zone.”
