Mike’s caller explains why he’d vote for Trump even if he ran as a third party candidate.

GALLAGHER: Tom is in San Jose.
CALLER TOM: Thank you for taking my call. I did ask permission to make sure it is ok that I can use a phrase from a famous comedian who said you can’t fix stupid.
GALLAGHER: Who is stupid here?
CALLER TOM: Sir, it is everybody that doesn’t understand that you don’t vote for the party. I appreciate and totally respect your point too Mike. You are right. I hate to say it, but you are right. Just like you said, you hate to say it, but you are right. They are going to get all freaked out because they think he is trying to blow up the GOP. America is just a big country. Trump proved he knows how to run it and put it back on track. You need to vote for the man. If he went to the independent alien, I would vote for that just because I want to vote for the person. I got to tell you , we are out here in California fighting all these crazy things going on and he is the only one who had enough , you know what.
GALLAGHER: But Tom, you got to look at it from my perspective. Here is what I hear from people every single day and it frustrates me and annoys me. I know it frustrates you. Oh, he is too toxic. The media will be too mean. Too much drama. We had too much drama when he was in so I can’t vote for him. I got to vote for Ron DeSantis. Again, Ron DeSantis might not even be running, but that is what I hear everyday.
CALLER TOM: Hence what I said about the comedian.
