Censorship Is Completely Un-American
Former Green Bay Packers star quarterback Brett Favre said that it is time to boycott Fox News and to stand with Tucker Carlson.
GALLAGHER: I want to go back to Brett Favre. He posts on social media, the Megyn Kelly clip and she is really scorching Fox News over their termination of Tucker Carlson. Here was Brett Favre last night. He was a guest with Eric Bolling on Newsmax.
FAVRE: First and foremost, I like to watch like The Five or Jesse Watters, Hannity. I like watching Fox, but I think we need to make a stand. We. People who are mainly conservative people who believe in certain things seem to be more than the other side, the silent majority. I think we need to make a stand. That is basically what I was trying to express.
GALLAGHER: Got it. Such an intriguing point about submitting to the mob who wants to suppress someone like Tucker Carlson who arguably was one of the bravest most compelling hours of television anywhere. You turned on that show. He took on UFOs, Covid vaccines, Election integrity. He did it all. You know, this Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is emerging as a really intriguing character. I don’t know if you’re following this entire candidacy. This long shot bid he has to challenge Joe Biden. He said something about censorship. This was an interview he gave to the Gateway pundit. Listen to this.
KENNEDY JR.: There’s never been a time in history when the good guys were the people censoring books and censoring information. And throughout Covid, the media took on this responsibility of basically lying to the public about public health issues in order to get them to follow a certain policy, which the media believed in, apparently, which were lockdowns, masks, the forced vaccination, etc. And now it’s clear that those policies were not beneficial to public health. But, you know, I think the media got into this posture of censorship, and it’s hard for them to relinquish it.
GALLAGHER: I mean, censorship is not an American principle. Censorship is un-American.
