Los Angeles DA George Gascon Doesn’t Want The Death Penalty For The Murder Suspect Who Killed A Sheriff’s Deputy
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon announced ‘no death penalty’ for the murder suspect who killed LASD Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer.
GALLAGHER: Did you see the the coverage out of Los Angeles of a sheriff’s deputy named Ryan Clinkunbroomer, who was executed while sitting in his patrol car? If you go up and and put a bullet in the head of a law enforcement officer, do you think maybe you’d be qualified to get the death penalty? You think that would be a crime that should result in the death penalty? Simple question, right? Not hard. And the story of the death of this young sheriff’s deputy, he just got engaged. I watched his fiance’s press conference last night, and it’s heartbreaking. I have friends who have children at the police academy. People I know, people I care about whose loved ones are committed to a life of law enforcement serving the community. And I’d like to think that the law enforcement community, of which I am so proud to represent with Gallagher’s heroes, our fallen officer fund, we publish first responders, Bibles and send them to first responders all over the country. We assist with the families of law enforcement officers who’ve been killed in the line of duty with some financial assistance. We’ve helped hundreds of families, thanks to your generosity. And I’m very, very proud of the Mike Gallagher Show Charitable Foundation. Gallagher’s Heroes. I’d like to think that if one of the many, many officers that we defend was executed and they caught the bad guy, the bad guy would face the death penalty if for no other reason that other bad guys might think twice before ending the life of a police officer. But that’s not the way the left sees the world. We have radical, lunatic activist district attorneys and prosecutors all over America who don’t believe in justice. It’s that simple. Here’s the Los Angeles County district attorney, George Gascon, one of the many George Soros prosecutors in America, explaining why he will not seek the death penalty for the monster who executed Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer in cold blood.
GASCON: Look, he twice called the seeking the death penalty was going to bring Ryan back to us. I will seek without any reservation, but I want to fight for the death penalty. What was going to stop people from committing the murders? I will seek it, but we know that it won’t. The reality is that the death penalty doesn’t serve as a deterrent, and the death penalty does not bring people back. This is. Let me. Let me finish, please. What I can assure you is that we’re going to do everything within our legal power to make sure that this defendant never gets out of prison.
GALLAGHER: Makes my skin crawl. Makes my skin. It makes me physically ill to witness what, frankly, George Soros is doing to this country. And you got to hand it to the evil people on the left. It’s a brilliant scheme. You prop up lunatics like that guy, get him elected, dupe enough of the voters into believing the glossy TV commercials and the powerful radio ads and the warm, fuzzy marketing for somebody like this lunatic. Get enough dummies to vote for him. And now we have a reality where even executing a cop isn’t enough for the loony left to bring the death penalty.
