Nikki Haley Is Reportedly Going To Announce Her 2024 Presidential Bid In The Near Future
It is being reported that Nikki Haley is going to run as a Republican for the 2024 presidential election challenging Trump.
GALLAGHER: How insane is it for Nikki Haley to challenge President Trump? According to a report, Nikki Haley is going to announce on Feb. 15th, the post and courier newspaper out of Charleston is reporting that she is going to make the official announcement that she is going to challenge Donald Trump and she wants to be the Republican nominee for President. Now this is an interesting journey because any Republican who declares their candidacy is immediately going to earn the wrath of Trump world. Trump supporters, you know I think it is fair to say we are a pretty passionate bunch. We get emotional, we are loyal. We are grateful for the 4 years of the Trump presidency. We lost count of how many people are texting “Trump” or “More Trump” to our MyPillow text line which is 800-655-MIKE and we send you back the list of Trump’s accomplishments. They are enormous and profound. We are extremely grateful for what Trump accomplished. Millions of Americans see one guy as the GOP nominee next year and that is Donald Trump. Interestingly, anybody whether Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, Mike Pompeo, Mike Pence, Glenn Youngkin. I don’t know, it could be a crowded field, but the battle lines will be drawn among the GOP faithful because Trump is immediately going to declare that anybody who challenges him is disloyal to the Republican party and to the American people, so you got to take that into account. Here is my problem with Nikki Haley and I am very careful. I don’t want to endorse anybody on the GOP side. The voters get to decide. You will vote in your state for who you want to be the Republican nominee for President, but I cannot resist my concerns for Nikki Haley starting with a promise she made in April of 2021. In April of 2021, Nikki Haley said this.
HALEY: I would not run if President Trump ran and I would talk to him about it. You know that is something that we will have a conversation about at some point if that decision is something that has to be made. I had a great working relationship with him. I appreciated the way he let me do my job. I thought we did some fantastically great foreign policy things together. Look I just want to keep building on what we accomplished and not watch it get torn down.
