Ron DeSantis is traveling to liberal cities stumping for law enforcement as Trump is on the campaign trail throwing some jabs at him.

GALLAGHER: Here is Ron DeSantis touring the country, praising law enforcement.

DESANTIS: You’ve got terrible legislation that has been passed in different parts of this country. This idea of no cash bail and you just release them right back onto the street. I read that New York is the only state that doesn’t allow judges to consider — when they’re making a bail determination — whether someone’s a danger to the community. Thats like one of the most important things that you need to be considering when you make these bail determinations. So here you are in uniform having to risk your life to go into these situations, you apprehend a criminal, bring them in, and then they just release him. So you have to risk your life again 2 weeks later to arrest the same guy all over again. How does that make any sense? Is that making your community any safer, to be doing that? Of course not. So you need to do things like repeal these failed pieces of legislation.

GALLAGHER: Now that is Ron DeSantis on Staten Island. Even though it is a pretty conservative community, that is New York City. Takes a lot of gumption for a red state governor who has been branded a fascist and nazi from the left to go to Staten Island. He is walking into the belly of the beast. Admittedly he won’t have throngs of people greeting him in Staten Island. President Trump had a reaction to Gov. DeSantis’ pro law enforcement speech in Staten Island. Here was what #45 had to say.

TRUMP: You know Ron DeSanctimonious had a crowd in Staten Island today. 139 people. We got a lot of people. We have 139 times about 30. We have a lot of people here, but I always say hit your enemy a little bit early. Some people say don’t, but I say do. I will tell you what. We have a lot of great people, great Republicans. Some running, some not running. Some just want publicity. We had polls today come out. We are #1 on the Republican scale by a lot, baby 34 points.

GALLAGHER: That is President Trump in his hometown poking a little fun at Ron DeSanctimonious, his small crowd in Staten Island. Now I’d be lying to you if I didn’t tell you that I hate this. I just hate it.
