Will Chick Fil-A Start Embracing Woke Ideologies?
The restaurant Chick-Fil-A appears to be embracing the diversity, equity, and inclusion narrative that we see so often in America.
GALLAGHER: Did you hear Chick-fil-A is going woke? Now they’re not really I guess. I don’t know how else to describe this. I just read a lengthy mission statement from Chick-fil-A and they believe that. They have a guy named Eric McReynolds who is the VP for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Chick-fil-A says that Chick-fil-A restaurants have long been recognized as a place where people know they will be treated well. Modeling care for others starts in the restaurant, and we are committed to ensuring mutual respect, understanding, and dignity everywhere we do business. These tenants are good business practice, and crucial for fulfilling our corporate purpose. When we’re better at together, we’re better together and it says here on this Chick-fil-A mission statement. I mean they’re so non-woke. They close on Sunday to honor the Lord. That’s Chick-fil-A and a lot of progressives still despise Chick-fil-A. Maybe Chick-fil-A is slowly trying to embrace wokeness. This is in bold letters, Chick-fil-A Inc.’s commitment to being better at together means embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do. I mean everybody’s doing it. You are not gonna be able to escape this and incidentally, I will defend Chick-fil-A as without a doubt the absolute best fast food restaurant chain in America.
